Where is your Faith?

November 3, 2026 · by Joanna Mills

Where is your Faith?
Everyone has faith of some kind. The faith that many people have is not faith directed towards God. Therefore God doesn't recognize their faith. The faith God will recognize is faith in Jesus Christ and what He did for us at the Cross. Jesus Christ is the source, the way, of all things we receive from God.

St John 3:16-18
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

1Corinthians 1:18
For the preaching of the Cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.

Galatians 2:20
I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

Where is your faith?

St Luke 8:20
And he said unto them, Where is your faith?....

Habakkuk 2:4
....but the just shall live by his faith.

St Luke 18:8
....Nevertheless when the Son of Man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?

St Mark 9:23
Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.

Where is your faith? Or should I say, where is your faith directed? In Men?

In Apostles; In Prophets; In Evangelists;
In Pastors; In Teachers?

Yes, we need every one of these Ministries, for the edifying of the body of Christ.

Ephesians 4:12-13
For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ.
Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:

Every one of them is a fellow laborer in Christ. We give honor where honor is due. The Apostle Paul said, in:

1Corinthians 11:1
Be Ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.
1Corinthians 1:11-13
For it hath been declared unto me of you, my brethren, by them which are of the house of Chloe, that there are contentions among you.

Now this I say, that every one of you saith, I am of Paul; and I of Apollos; and I of Cephas; and I of Christ.

Is Christ divided? was Paul crucified for you? or were ye baptized in the name of Paul?

Romans 13:7
Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour.

Proverb 3:27
Withhold not good from them to whom it is due, when it is in the power of thine hand to do it.

Where is your faith? In Money? In your savings? In what's in your checking account? In your job? In your business? In your 401K? In your investments?

St Matthew 6:24-26
No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and Mammon.

Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?

Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?

St Matthew 6:31-34
Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?

(For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

St Mark 11:22
And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.

When we go through trials, test, temptations, hardships, just every day life, our faith should always take us back to the Cross. I remember all the things I received there, and my faith is renewed.

To us, the Saints, the Cross is the power of God. I can do all things through Christ.

Philippians 4:13
I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

2Timothy 1:12
....for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.
