Your Quality of Life
...."I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly." St John 10:10
Abundant means: exceeding, going beyond, full, more than
God is concerned about your quality of life. There is an abundant life prepared for you. ...."Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him." 1 Corinthians 2:9
"And the Lord shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; if that thou hearken unto the commandments of the Lord thy God, which I command thee this day, to observe and to do them:" Deuteronomy 28:13
This abundant life that is offered to us is conditional. Please pay attention to the (IF) in this scripture ... "if that thou hearken"... "If ye love me, keep my commandments." St John 14:15 (IF) "If ye love me" .... conditional.
You have to choose this life. "And Elijah came unto all the people, and said, How long halt ye between two opinions? If the Lord be God, follow him".... 1 King 18:21 Opinions, divided in mind and thoughts, how long? God's way / Your way
"Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision:" .... Joel 3:14 "A double minded man is unstable in all his ways." James 1:8 Unstable, many of you are struggling with this life. Double minded, two opinions are causing you to be unstable in your walk with God. God's way / Your way "unstable as water, thou shalt not excel:".... Genesis 49:4
"Having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin; beguiling unstable souls:".... 2 Peter 2:14
Easily lead into sin, unlearned, hard to believe, don't want to understand, and wrestle with the Word of God. "As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction." 2 Peter 3:16
It's time!!! "Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded." James 4:8 "And everyone that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:" St Matthew 7:26 When you're unstable, double minded, you're not on solid ground.
"Settle it, in your hearts,".... St Luke 21:14 If the Lord be God, follow Him. The world is no longer an option. ...."choose you this day whom ye will serve;"....Joshua 24:15
Your quality of life, is hinged on the quality of your obedience to God. "If ye love me, keep my commandments." St John 14:15 That abundant life is prepared for them that love him. ...."Lovest thou me?" St John 21:16. He's asking you this question today. Can he see your love for him, in the way you obey His Word.
"He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him." St John 14:21
Let this abundant life that he has prepared for you, be manifest in your hearts. CHOOSE LIFE
